Eva Pfanzelter has a university education in History and Humanities at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, the University of Salzburg, Austria, and Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois, USA. She holds a PhD in History from the University of Innsbruck, awarded in 2005. She has been researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Contemporary History at the University of Innsbruck since 1996. Since 2010 she has been Assistant Professor at the same institute and is currently working on her postdoctoral degree with the project “Holocaust Related Websites between Media Discourse, Politics of Memory und Politicking”.
