Martin Hořák studied History and History of Art at the Charles University, Prague. He worked for eight years in the Office for Victims of Nazism. Since 2010 he has been employed in the Secretariat of the Czech-German Fund for the Future. He heads the Board of Directors of the society Living Memory and is an external expert of the European agency EACEA.
